For this design I have used a clear glass vase. I've filled the vase with a layer of green glass nuggets at the bottom, with a layer of pink sisal on top of that, then another layer of green glass nuggets. Finally, I've wrapped the bottom half of a piece of floral foam in pink sisal, and wedged this in the top of the vase. For the height, I've used some Corylus avellana "Contorta" (Contorted Hazel), with another stem of this at the bottom right of the design. The foliage used is Hedera colchica "Sulphur Heart", and Mahonia lomariifolia. The flowers used are pink Gerbera, green "Prado" standard Carnations, pink and white roses, and a stem of pink Cymbidium Orchids. All the flowers are grouped for better effect. |
