This is a design using all green materials. I've used a shallow green dish, with floral foam for the mechanics. I began by covering the mechanics with lime-green sisal, pinned to the edge of the floral foam. All the plant materials have then been grouped. The foliage used is Fatsia japonica aurea, Hedera colchica "Sulphur Heart", Eucalyptus, Picea pungens glauca, and Equisetum hyemale, which has been bent into a series of triangles in three groups around the edge of the design. The flowers used are three Chrysanthemum "Shamrock", five Carnation "Prado" and a group of spray Chrysanthemum "Yoko Ono". Three green wicker balls have been added for a change of form and texture, and three very pale green paper bows complete the design. An overhead view of the design is pictured below. | |
